Celine Dion at danger of giving early birth to her twins

The 42-year-old Canadian born singer, who is expecting twin boys and is in the final month of her pregnancy, was admitted to a Palm Beach Hospital early this morning.

Dion and her husband of 16 years, René Angélil, 68, have described the pregnancy as a miracle having undergone at least seven IVF treatments in an attempt to fall pregnant again, Daily Mail reports.

"Celine and her doctors are hopeful that she can continue her pregnancy as long as possible, and hope to get her to at least 37 weeks gestation to ensure the healthiest outcome for her children," the rep added.

Dion announced in July that she is expecting twin boys. After multiple failed attempts to get pregnant, the singer successfully conceived earlier this year after undergoing her sixth in-vitro fertilization attempt. She also said she turned to acupuncture to improve her chances of pregnancy.

Dion and Angelil, 68, are also parents to a 9-year-old son, Rene Charles, New York Daily News reports.
