Actress Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem have always kept their romance under the radar – and their intimate wedding was equally low-profile.

Cruz, 36, and Javier Bardem, 41, exchanged vows in front of family members during a small, private ceremony held at a friend’s home in the Bahamas earlier this month, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

The bride wore a gown designed by designer John Galliano, a longtime friend of the actress, People Magazine reports.

The small wedding, which was only attended by family members, took place at a friend's home in the Bahamas.

The "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" co-stars began dating in 2007. Prior to that, Cruz was linked to Matthew McConaughey and Tom Cruise.

Bardem's next flick is the Ryan Murphy-helmed "Eat Pray Love." At yesterday's event at the WGA honoring the writers of "Glee," Murphy semi-confirmed that Bardem will be appearing in the upcoming season of the hit Fox show, according to Hollywood Reporter.
