Michael Jackson Murdered for His Share of Sony's Music Catalogue

An erstwhile Michael Jackson advisor, Leonard Rowe, claims Michael was murdered for his $1 billion interest in the music catalog that he jointly owns with Sony.

Rowe, who is not related to Debbie Rowe, is a close friend of Joe Jackson, who also has made a similar claim. Rowe has authored a tell-all tome titled What Really Happened To Michael Jackson that releases in bookstores on June 25, Jackson's first death anniversary, Sawf News reports.

On Sunday, in a video posted on the website of Britain's News of the World newspaper, Jackson's father, Joe, tells a reporter he blames his wife (and Michael's mother), Katherine, for their son's death, because she didn't come to Michael's aid when he needed her the most.

"Mothers [are] always the one the son looks up to. I wanted her to step in and go in and say, 'Look, Michael,' a bit ... keep him cheered up, because, you know, if your mother's around you, the son, I would think, would feel better," Jackson said. "But she didn't want to do that, because she was afraid that she was invading his privacy ... and we argued about that several times", MTV.com informs.
