Apple Computer Inc. on Wednesday released the latest models in its Power Mac line of high-performance desktop computers, featuring improved processing speed and graphics capability.
The company is offering a Power Mac with dual 2-gigahertz G5 processors and a 160-gigabyte hard drive for $1,999, or with a 250-gigabyte hard drive and expanded video memory for $2,499.
Apple is also selling the Power Mac with two dual 2.5-gigahertz G5 processors and a 250-gigabyte hard drive for $3,299.
Shares of Apple rose $1.47, or 2.8 percent, to $53.68 on the Nasdaq, reports the AP.
