Moscow to be home to Europe's largest ocean aquarium in 2005

Europe's largest ocean aquarium will be built by 2005 in the Poklonnaya Gora region of Moscow. The Moscow city information service told Rosbalt that the aquarium's design work has been completed and construction will soon get underway. The aquarium will shelter more than 10 thousand fish including 20 three-meter long sharks, piranhas and crampfish. The aquarium will also include a general circular panorama and an underwater theater, which will give various performances. Moreover, the underwater complex will also house a research laboratory and diving club. In addition, part of the aquarium will house stores, a cafй and restaurant and even a wedding hall.
