Siberian dancers head for US tour
The Mikhail Godenko Krasnoyarsk State Academic Dance Ensemble of Siberia will give 75 performances in the United States this fall. As related to Rosbalt yesterday in the Krasnoyarsk Philharmonic, the troupe's first tour in 10 years is set for September 1 through December 9, kicking off in Portland, Oregon, and winding up in Florida. Columbia Artists Management Inc., which has arranged the tour, said the contract was signed in 2000 and that the tour 'was sure to be an enormous success.'
