Amateur theaters of Estonia, Russia and Sweden show in the Estonian town of Narva a performance in Russian of the play "Ronja, the Robber's Daughter" written by famous Swedish writer Astrid Lindgren.
The idea of a joint performance appeared two years ago and the play, already been staged in Sweden, had a big success, said Peter Kranz, stage director of the performance.
Taking part in it are about 70 amateur actors from Narva, the Russian town of Ivangorod located nearby and Swedish Karlskoga, which are twin cities. After several performances in Estonia, the joint production will be shown on the other side of the border, in Ivangorod.
