World-famed Georgian stage director Robert Sturua will present a production of Waiting for Godo play by Samuel Beckett within the framework of the fifth international Chekhov theatre festival which is being held in Moscow from May 17. The production is slated to be shown on June 3 and 4.

Robert Sturua will stage Mazepa opera in Bolshoi Theatre the first night of which is scheduled for January 28, 2004.
Alongside Rustaveli theatre, Robert Sturua actively works abroad. He has already staged 25 plays of Shakespeare, Sophocles, Moliere, Brecht and Chekhov in different cities of the world. The total number of his works has already topped 100.
