Children under 3 should not watch any cartoons at all

October 28 is celebrated in the world as the International Animation Day. According to psychologists, children under three years of age should not watch any cartoons at all, as the watching experience may show a negative impact on the child's psyche.

When showing cartoons to little children, parents should participate in the experience as well, giving the child explanations, asking the child questions and limiting the viewing time.

Cartoons with a rapid change of episodes, which include most of Western cartoons, are also not recommended, as children do not remember the plot and can not retell the story of such cartoons afterwards.
