Russia hopes Iranian nuclear dispute will not lead to war

Russia

Russia's defense minister said Monday that he hoped that the dispute over Iran's nuclear program would not escalate into open conflict.

Responding to a reporter's question about the possibility of war between Iran and Western countries, &to=http://english.pravda.ru/main/2002/11/06/39235.html' target=_blank>Sergei Ivanov said in televised comments, "I very much hope that it will not come to this."
