Hundreds of Chinese illegal aliens detained in Russian capital

200 Chinese citizens who were staying in Russia illegally were detained in Moscow, the press service of the Federal Migration Service confirms.

Officers of the Federal Migration Service and elite police forces carried out the operation overnight to Thursday.

“Several dozens of foreigners who did not have necessary documents for the stay in Russia were detained at the dormitory located on the premises of the skinnery not far from the Cherkizovo marketplace,” the press service said.

The detainees were brought to several police stations in the Moscow eastern administrative district. “Documents are being prepared for a trial that will rule whether or not to deport detained Chinese citizens,” Itar-Tass quoted the press service as saying.
