Norwegian fisheries inspectors going home after a Russian trawler voyage

Two Norwegian fisheries inspectors who had to travel to Russian waters before being let off a Russian fishing trawler they had tried to detain were transferred to a Russian ship Thursday on their way to a Norwegian vessel, Russian news agencies reported. The ships were all gathered in the Bay of Motovsk in the Barents Sea, near Russia's Kola Peninsula.

The Russian trawler Elektron was accused of illegally fishing off Norway and evading prosecution by fleeing Norwegian ships, which pursued in on a four-day chase amid diplomatic efforts not to let the fishing dispute escalate, reports the AP.
