Dagestan gas pipeline blast was of technogenic nature-experts
The explosion at a gas pipeline in Dagestan Republic was caused by a "technogenic situation," believe specialists of the Kaspiigazprom company citing preliminary data.
The explosion took place at the 89th kilometre of the trunk line Mozdok-Gazimagomed in the Khasavyurt district near the Pokrovskoye settlement late on Friday.
Sources close to law enforcement agencies told Itar-Tass on Saturday the explosion occurred at the site where repair and restoration work was conducted a day before.
The blast put out of order some six metres of the trunk line, ITAR-TASS reported.
