Saddam letter published in Jordan

The toppled Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein has addressed a letter to the Jordanian people stressing the importance of "faith, love and reproduction", according to a copy handed out by Jordan's Baath party.

Saddam’s letter, published in two Jordanian newspapers, Ad-Dustour and al-Arab al-Yawm, was delivered by the International Committee of the Red Cross to an old friend now living in Jordan. The letter's defiant tone, flowery Arabic and support for Palestine were similar to old speeches by the ousted Iraqi leader, AP reports.
