Court: Yukos must pay billions to former production unit now under state control
A Moscow court has ruled that Yukos must pay 62.4 billion rubles (US$2.3 billion, Ђ1.5 billion) to its former production unit Yuganskneftegaz, which is now controlled by the state, the Interfax agency reported Friday.
State-controlled Rosneft, which now owns Yuganskneftegaz, is suing Yukos for US$11 billion for lost profits and unpaid taxes.
