RTS index decreased 1.64% last week

The RTS index dropped 1.64 percent to 648.14 points in the period from October18 to 22, the press service of the RTS exchange reported. Common stocks of YUKOS led the decliners with a 22.12-percent decrease, while common stocks of Varyeganeftegaz led the gainers having advanced 20.24 percent.

The trade volume of RAO UES common shares amounted to $31.099m in the reported period compared to $13.267m of LUKoil common stocks and $5.914m of Norilsk Nickel common stocks. The share of these securities in the total trade was 36.99 percent, 15.78 percent and 7.03 percent respectively.
