Ruble falls vs euro
The weighted average euro exchange rate has been 36.66 RUR/EUR at a special session today, which is RUR0.21 higher than the official euro rate set by the Russian Central Bank for October 21. The spread of deals at the UTS was between RUR36.61 and RUR36.67 per euro.
The ruble's considerable weakening against the European currency is attributed to the dollar's continuing drop against the euro on international exchanges. The euro costs $1.259 currently while yesterday it was $1.252.
