The plan of rendering assistance to the DPRK worked out by the Russian emergencies ministry will soon be approved by Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov, RIA Novosti was told in the government information and press department.
"As soon as the plan is approved by the government chairman, all necessary actions will be made," the department said.
The Russian emergencies ministry worked out a plan to render assistance to the DPRK in the wake of a railroad accident there.
A department official stressed that the issue of rendering aid to North Korea has been discussed from the moment the news about the tragedy was received.
