New searches not to affect YUKOS much

New searches in YUKOS will not have dire consequences for the company, NIKoil analyst Lev Snykov told RBC commenting on today's searches in the headquarters of YUKOS. According to the expert, "this news is obviously negative for the company and some small selling of YUKOS shares is possible, which will result in a decrease in their prices." This will be a short-term effect as today's searches "are just an episode in the YUKOS case," the analyst believes. According to Snykov, decisions, which will be made on concrete criminal cases on tax evasion of YUKOS and its subsidiaries, will play a far more important role.
