Emergencies Ministry to continue evacuating Russians from Iraq

The Russian Emergencies Ministry is planning to make four flights to Iraq to evacuate Russian and CIS citizens today. According to preliminary data, the first departure of an Il-62 plane is planned for 6 a.m. Moscow time; two Il-76 planes will take off at 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and if required, another Il-62 will leave for Baghdad at 8 p.m. According to the Emergencies Ministry, the number of flights may be changed at any time, if there is not anybody who would wish to leave Iraq.

The fist stage of evacuation was completed yesterday. More than 360 civilians (Russian and CIS citizens) arrived in Russia on board three airplanes of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
