Rosenergoatom to build floating nuclear power plant in China

Rosenergoatom plans to spend USD 1.05 million to build a floating Nuclear Power Plant in China with its Chinese partners, according to the company's press service. Rosenergoatom Director Oleg Saraev said the funds would be used to complete 'work and other obligations.' 'This shows Russia's intentions to build the plant,' said Saraev.

The Russian state power company Rosenergoatom was created in 1992. Since 2002 it is the leading company of a group which includes all 10 nuclear power plants in Russia and 30 energy blocks with a total capacity of 22242 megawatts.
