Russia to ensure return of intelligence agents from Qatar

Russia will do its best to ensure the return the Russian intelligence agents jailed for alleged murdering Chechen separatist Zelimkhan Yandarbiyev in Qatar, Alexander Yakovenko, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, told journalists. He did not elaborate on the measures implemented by the Russian party for the return of the agents from Qatar. But he stressed that Moscow would stick to its position.

Yakovenko did not express the official position on the two Qatari citizens detained in Russia.
