Putin takes 61% of vote in mobile telephone 'primary'

As of 20:00 (Moscow time) February 29, some 98,500 persons had taken part in the SMS Primary. In favor of the current president of the Russian Federation were 61.4% of those voting in the telephone poll. Other results: for Irina Khakamada, 20.51%; Sergey Glazyev, 5.03%; Nikolai Kharitonov, 1.19%; Ivan Rybkin, 0.92%; Oleg Malkin, 0.68%; Sergey Mironov, 0.47%, and voting against all candidates, 9.81%.
