Russian Audit Chamber chairman Stepashin to visit Brazil, Uruguay, Chile

A delegation of the Russian Audit Chamber headed by its chairman Sergei Stepashin will be paying official visits to Brazil, Uruguay and Chile from February 28 till March 11, 2004.

The delegates are scheduled to meet with top officials and heads of the state financial control bodies of these Latin American countries, the information and public relations department of the Audit Chamber told RIA Novosti.

Agreements on cooperation between the Russian Audit Chamber and Chilean and Uruguayan analogues are expected to be signed.

The sides will discuss cooperation in fighting international terrorism financing and drugs-money laundering.
