Presidential candidate Ivan Rybkin missing since February 5

Just one day after his campaign for president was officially registered, Ivan Rybkin's family filed a missing person's report with the police to help find Rybkin, who has been missing since February 5.

Boris Berezovsky told radio station Echo Moskvy yesterday from London that Russian special agents have information confirming that Rybkin, Berezovsky's former deputy, will turn up Monday (today). He said that Rybkin's wife told him that she called the Russian Security Council and a 'dispatcher told here that Rybkin would turn up on Monday (today).'

Meanwhile, police continue to search for the presidential candidate. Moscow Internal Affairs Department head Vladimir Pronin is directing the search operation. So far police have examined Rybkin's office, apartment, garage, and other places he had attended, but they have yet to come up with any leads.
