Strong measures should be taken against directors who withhold worker's pay

More than 4 million workers in Russia did not receive their pay on time, said Labor Minister Alexander Pochinok in a meeting with President Vladimir Putin yesterday. He added that the Prosecutor General has now joined the battle against directors who withhold pay from their employees by instigating criminal proceedings against directors of several companies. Pochinok said that workers won more than 2 million cases connected with their overdue pay last year. Putin said that strong measures should be taken against directors who withhold their worker's pay.
