Vladimir Putin: Russia-US relations to be stable and predictable

In regard to the US, Russia will conduct stable and predictable politics, said Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with US Secretary of State Colin Powell in Moscow today. He added that relations between the two countries are strong, which permits the US and Russia to overcome present differences, according to Rosbalt quoting the president's press service.

Putin also emphasized that Russia highly values the development of bilateral relations and Colin Powell's visit only reinforces that attitude. During the first-half of the day, Powell met with Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov.
