Suicide bomber to blame for Moscow's blast

MOSCOW (AP) -- A female suicide bomber set off explosives that detonated a car near Moscow's Red Square on Tuesday, killing five people and injuring 13, the ITAR-TASS news agency reported. According to ITAR –TASS, ten people were treated on the spot and released. As Rosbalt was informed by the state security department, an investigation is already under way and arrests may be made in the near future. Judging by the explosives and equipment at the site of the attack, investigators consider a version of the terrorist attack, states Rosbalt. According various sources, the explosion was caused by a female suicide bomber. Gazeta.ru reports that police discovered a case with 5 kilos of unused explosives right next to the woman’s body.
