Forecast: 60% of voters to turn up at forthcoming parliamentary elections

Over 60 per cent of voters will turn up at the forthcoming parliamentary elections in Russia, head of the independent research center Public Opinion Fund Alexander Oslon told a press conference in Moscow on Thursday.

"There is a myth" that the elections are of no interest, he said. "However, there has not been any proof from participants of the election process that it is really so," Oslon pointed out.

When answering journalists' questions, he said that about 12 per cent of voters would vote against all candidates. "These are usual figures for such voting," he believes.
