S. Korean Foreign Minister to visit Moscow

South Korean Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Yun Yong-Kwan has accepted an invitation from Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov to pay an official visit to Russia from November 16 to 18, said the press and information department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"The foreign ministers will discuss the development of bilateral cooperation, the situation in the Korean Peninsula and vital international issues," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

This visit continues a series of top-level contacts between Russia and the new administration of South Korea, the department said.

The visit follows a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and South Korean President No Mu-hyon in Bangkok during the APEC summit. Both leaders confirmed their readiness for developing Russian-Korean relations in different spheres, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
