The "UES ROSSII" company discusses the appointment of Alexander Voloshin chairman of the energy holding's board of directors, writes Vedomosti.

Chairman of the company's board Anatoly Chubais proposed that Voloshin become a staff chairman of the holding's board of directors and receive his wages there, Vedomosti reports with reference to Chubais entourage.

"This proposal was made orally. First, Voloshin should give his consent and only then the discussion will take place in higher instances," member of the UES board of directors and senator Valentin Zavadnikov told Vedomosti.

On Thursday, Alexei Gromov, a press secretary of the head of state, reported that Vladimir Putin by his decree removed Alexander Voloshin from the post of chief of the presidential administration.
