Institute of Medico-Biological Problems' 40th anniversary

President Vladimir Putin congratulated the personnel of the Institute of Medico-Biological Problems on its 40th anniversary, the press service of the president of Russia reported.

In a telegram, President Putin said:

"You have succeeded in creating a multifaceted research center that studies the most important aspects of modern science. The scientists of the Institute have made a considerable contribution to space medicine and medical support of long-term space flights.

"Today, you need to take an active part in large-scale international programs and develop advanced technologies that can be used in health services and related sectors," said Putin in the telegram.
