Head of Russian Audit Chamber to meet with heads of Eurosai members

Head of Russian Audit Chamber Sergey Stepashin will meet with heads Supreme Audit Institutions of leading European countries.

Theses meetings are planned to be held within the framework of the 27th European Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions /EUROSAI/ session, which is to be chaired by Sergey Stepashin and held on October 28th in Italy.

The session in particular will consider the issues concerning the preparations for the 3rd joint conference of EUROSAI and Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions of Latin America and Caribbean basin countries. The conference is scheduled to be held in 2004 in London, a source in the Russian Audit Chamber disclosed to RIA Novosti.

The board of Chairmen will also hear to the reports about the activity of the International Organisation of Audit Institutions on Strategic Planning and Fight against International Money Laundering. The organisation was formed upon Russia's initiative and its first session was held in Moscow in September.
