Finnish company receives contract from State Hermitage Museum valued at USD 74 Million

The Lemcon company, which is a subdivision of the Finnish company Lemminkainen, has received a contract from the State Hermitage Museum to build a storeroom and administrative building. The contract is valued at USD 74 million. Company officials said construction would begin immediately. The total space of the new building is about 40 thousand cubic meters.

The new storeroom will be located in the Primorsky region of Saint Petersburg in the same area where Lemcon build a storehouse for the State Hermitage Museum's art collection. The storehouse became operational this past May. Lemcnm has completed many different restoration and reconstruction projects in the main building of the State Hermitage Museum.
