YUKOS head reacts to recent searches

The server, which was seized by the General Prosecutor's Office during searches in the Korallovo orphanage on October 3, had been written off and given to the Korallovo orphanage, YUKOS head Mikhail Khodorkovsky declared at a news conference today. "It is meaningless to store information about activities of the company and its affiliates at the written-off server," Khodorkovsky stressed.

Today the General Prosecutor's Office declared that investigators had found a server of the Menatep Bank in the orphanage. Investigators believe that all documents of this bank, which was liquidated in 1998 to 1999, were stored in the orphanage.
