TNK-BP to develop oil reserves of Russian region

TNK-BP considers oil reserves of the Saratov region of Russia as one of the most important and promising, TNK-BP President Robert Dudley announced at his meeting with Saratov regional governor Dmitry Ayatskov today. According to Dudley, there is little oil left in the bosom of the Texas state, and industrialized countries may need another source of raw materials soon. He also supported Ayatskov's intentions to increase annual oil production of the region to 5m tons in the next 5 years and to 10m tons in the next 10 years.

In addition, Dudley emphasized that TNK-BP was going to implement a number of new programs, including the provision of social aid to the public, the handling of associated gas, etc.
