Russia to pay $1bn in September

Russia will transfer $1.024bn in September 2003 to pay foreign debts, sources in the Russian Finance Ministry told RBC. About $176.197m, including $47.197m in interest payments, will be paid to countries that are official creditors, banks and companies. Some $247.23m, including $21.327m in interest payments, will be paid to international financial organizations this month. Moreover, Russia will pay $600.262m in coupons on 10-year and 30-year Eurobonds on September 30.
