New Kamaz model voted best off-road lorry at Moscow international motor show

The Kamaz-4355 heavy-duty lorry was voted the best off-road lorry at the international motor show in Moscow on August 25. As a Rosbalt correspondent was informed by the Kamaz press office, the Kamaz-4355 gained considerably more votes than the Tiger off-road lorry from Gorky and the Ural-55571-44 dump-truck from the Urals.

The new Kamaz also won second prize in the Motor Show 2003 Special Prize for its practicality and originality.

Kamaz has had various new models on display at the latest motor show including the legendary Kamaz-4911 lorry, which has won the Paris-Dakar rallies more than once and won the Turkish rally in August 2003. All models are equipped with engines of Euro-2 ecological standards.

Kamaz specializes in vehicles with a capacity of between 4 and 20 tonnes and diesel engines which are used in more than 60 countries.
