Finance Ministry to issue $626m in bonds in September

The Russian Finance Ministry is planning to hold three auctions on placing state bonds totaling 19bn rubles ($626m) in September 2003, Alexander Chumachenko, the deputy head of the domestic debt department of the Finance Ministry, told RBC. According to him, an auction on placing 5bn rubles ($165m) in federal loan bonds will be held on September 3. Other two auctions will be conducted on September 17, 2003.

As reported earlier, the Russian Finance Minister is planning to attract 169bn rubles (about $5.6bn) on the domestic market this year.
