The Airspace Show MAKS-2003 was opened for all the visitors on Friday

The International Airspace Show MAKS-2003 was opened for all the visitors on Friday.

As the board of directors of the Airspace Show reported, this day up to 250,000 people will visit the exhibition.

The organising committee of the Airspace Show has assured the correspondent that the board of directors will do everything possible for the programme of flights to be carried out in full.

A large programme of flights has been planned for this day. As to the Russian aircraft, the visitors will have a chance to see the Su-47 (Berkut), the heavy fighter Su-35 and the Su-30MKI. The Russian MiG aircraft-building company will demonstrate the MiG-29 and its possible modification MiG-29K (ship-launched), the MiG-29M2 and also the MiG-AT trainer.

For the first time the public will be shown the flights of the Russian piloting groups: Russian Vityazi, Strizhi (Russian Air Force) and Rus (on Czech planes L-39 Albatros).

The guests at the Airspace Show - the Frecce Tricolori (Italy) and the Patrol de France will also take part in the Friday flight demonstrations.

The programme of the flights of each group lasts for 15-20 minutes; the French pilots have promised to make a present to the Russian women drawing a heart in the sky.
