MICEX asks gov't for right to trade Gazprom shares

The exchange council of the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX) has applied to the Russian government asking to consider the possibility of including MICEX on the list of exchanges that have the right to trade Gazprom shares, MICEX reported.

Currently the Moscow Stock Exchange, the Yekaterinburg Stock Exchange, the St. Petersburg Currency Exchange and the Siberian Stock Exchange have the right to trade Gazprom shares.
