Vyborg Shipyard has USD 51 million of orders on its books

The Vyborg Shipyard currently has USD 51 million worth of orders on its books, according to the shipyard's general director, Sergei Zavyalov. He said that the shipyard will probably fulfill about 40% of the orders this year.

In June the shipyard launched a multipurpose rescue vessel for Norwegian company Havyard Leirvik. Later this summer it intends to complete work on a high-speed launch that will be put up for sale. In October it plans to launch a trawler for Norwegian company Bergen Yards. Zavyalov also said that the company hopes to sign a contract with a leading oil and gas company soon and intends to attract investment from the project from a major European investor.
