Finnish Prime Minister Anneli Jaatteenmaki arrived in Moscow today by invitation of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov. The chancellery of the Finnish government told Rosbalt that talks would center on bilateral trade and economic relations, questions of increased security of sea traffic, cooperation in the area of border patrol and wood industry. Cooperation between the EU and Russia as part of the Northern dimension program will also be discussed.
In addition to talks with Kasyanov, Jaatteenmaki will have a discussion with State Duma deputies. On Monday evening Jaatteenmaki returns to Finland.
Over the past week (September 17-23), Russian troops carried out 12 strikes with the use of long-range precision weapons and drones targeting army bases of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
