The presentation of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) will take place in Moscow from June 9 through June 12, said Secretary for Questions of Europe, International Relations and Media (NRW) Miriam Mekel. She said that seven members of the government and a delegation of 400 representatives of economics, science and politics of NRW led by NRW Prime Minister Peer Steinbruck will take part. Economics Minister German Gref, Trade and Industry Chamber President Evgeny Primakov and Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov will represent Russia.
'The presentation is the culmination of events developing over several years in the economic and cultural relations between NRW and Russia. The goal of the activities is to help the long-term development of trade relations in the area of energy, agriculture, education and also support our companies in the Russian market,' said Mekel.
