Sukhoi makes deals worth $2bn this year

The corporation Sukhoi has signed and initialed contracts on Sukhoi aircraft supplies through the Russian arms agency Rosoboronexport totaling more than $2bn since the beginning of 2003, the press service of the corporation told RBC citing statements of Sukhoi General Director Mikhail Pogosyan.

As reported earlier, in May 2003 Russia and Malaysia initialed the contract on supplies of Su-30MKM fighters totaling about $900m. Earlier the agreements had been signed on selling two Su-30MKs and two Su-27SKs to Indonesia worth $120m.
