In June, Russia will have to pay more than $2 bln in clearing off its foreign debts

In June, Russia will have to pay more than 2.096 billion dollars in clearing off and servicing its state foreign debt. RIA Novosti was told as much in the Russian Finance Ministry.

The bulk of the sum (1.250 billion dollars) is to be paid in clearing off the main debt for European bonds, another 352.8 million dollars will have to be paid as the interest on the European bonds.

In June, Russia will pay almost 235.8 million dollars to creditor-countries, banks and firms in clearing off its main debt, and almost 67 million dollars - in the form of the interest.

This month, more than 182 million dollars will be paid in clearing off the main debt, and 9.2 million dollars - as the interest to international financial organisations.

Altogether, Russia will have to pay 17.3 billion dollars in 2003 in clearing off its foreign debts /in 2002 this sum amounted to 14 billion dollars/.

The biggest monthly payment since this year's start, 2.483 billion dollars, was made in May.
