RAO UES shares plummet on Russian stock market

The majority of shares are falling on the Russian stock market. In particular, shares of the national energy grid RAO UES of Russia plummeted 8.5 percent and Mosenergo dropped 5 percent at the RTS. Rostelecom retreated more than 2 percent and Surgutneftegas by about 2 percent. The only exception is the oil major LUKoil that is still 0.55 percent above yesterday's closing. The RTS index dropped 1.25 percent to 465.24 points as of 1:30 p.m.
