In 4-5 years the registered trade turnover between Russia and China can total 20 billion dollars if "economic relations between our countries are developing the same way they develop today," Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the press conference following the talks with his Chinese counterpart.
"It will depend on the growth of Russian and Chinese economies," Putin stressed.
The registered trade grew from 6 to 12 billion dollars since the early 1990s, the President said. Today the registered trade between Russia and China totals 11.8 billion dollars, Putin specified. According to different estimations, the unregistered trade totals 10 billion dollars.
