Unification of information systems of all bodies of federal authorities is expected to be accomplished by 2010, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Andrei Sharonov said Monday.
According to him, the Cabinet hopes to develop by that time a so-called "e-Cabinet " with databases of all ministries and departments. The state will also "provide electronic services to the population." For instance, already now, citizens can fill in the tax declaration on the Dues and Taxes Ministry website, Sharonov noted.
Web-portals of all ministries and formats are planned to be created in the coming years to fulfil the Cabinet decree on the informational openness of power.
"So far, ministries offer the information they consider necessary. Our task is to create standard minimal sets of information and to determine the rate of refreshment for this information," Sharonov stressed.
The "e-Cabinet" is being developed within the framework of the Electronic Russia federal targeted programme.
