Russian automaker's net profits boost in Q1, 2003

The Russian automaker KamAZ's net profits amounted to RUR47.7m (about $1.54m) in the first quarter of 2003 against a loss of RUR91.1m ($2.95m) in the same period of 2002. In the reported period, KamAZ sold RUR4.817bn ($155.486bn) in products, which is 22.4 percent higher than in the same period of 2002.
